The composition in this piece, a repetitive pattern obtained by clamp-resist using acrylic squares, is very simple. The interest lies in the positive/negative effect, obtained with the discharge technique, which allows to reserve darker areas set against a lighter background. Subtle changes in colour are the result of folding the fabric, lending complexity to the piece. The patterns and colours remind us of dawn in a dense urban landscape.
