THRESHOLD 7 - detail
The cloth was folded and secured with two pieces of wood clamped together. The resulting pattern after dyeing the cloth is two silhouettes separated by a gap where the dye was able to penetrate. The stitching, a square of diagonal running stitches, delimits the space that connects the two shapes. As a threshold, it denotes the transition between inside and outside.
