These textile pieces, woven in very fine wool, have been carefully folded, tied, dyed; dried, untied, and partially unfolded, to become a collection of elements much like delicate flowers in a herbarium. While the memory of the folds and ties describes the process of collection and storage, the unfolding reveals the brightness of the captured colours of the textile within, as it was before dyeing.
