SCREEN 100 - detail
This screen was created to showcase textile pieces. Heavy linen was used for the tapestry weave. Slots were created while weaving, to allow a space for the clamps used in the resist; they also allow light to go through the free-standing screen. The path travelled by the dye to the fibre is revealed in the thick texture of the weave.
