These weavings are a modern interpretation of the traditional tapestry technique. Warps are grouped to form vertical narrow bands, woven separately for a certain distance, and held together by interlocking weft threads. Colour changes occur at these vertical bands. Both colour and the revealed interlacing of warp and weft are an important part of the composition.
