The colour palette is limited to blue and terracotta. Colours alternate in the weft to create vertical fine lines, enclosed in turn in the vertical warp bands. At a distance the colours blend, and at close proximity the subtle lines are revealed. The weft threads that hold the warp bands together create a rhythm, and a sense of transparency.
